Honey is one wonder ingredient in your pantry that can reverse time for you and reduce the signs of aging significantly. Honey is naturally soothing and has antibacterial properties. It slows down the appearance of signs of aging and gives us a healthy glow. The antioxidants present in honey heal the skin and prospects it from damage caused by the environment. You can use honey for wrinkles in the following ways.
- Wash your face with water. Apply raw honey to your wrinkles. Leavethe honey on for at least 30 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this every day either in the morning or at night. Use this method every other day to witness results.
- Mix a tablespoon of honey with two teaspoons of lemon juice. Mix it well and keep it in a small airtight Use this as a face wash instead of your regular face wash.
- Mix a tablespoon of honey with a teaspoon of oats and one-fourth of an avocado and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix them well and apply it as a face mask. Keep it on for at least 20 minutes. Let it dry and wash it with some water. Use this face mask twice a week to see visible improvement.
- Alternatively, you can also mix a tablespoon of honey with a teaspoon of lemon and two teaspoons of nutmeg. Mix all the three ingredients well.Apply it to your face and keep it for already 30 minutes. Once dry, gently scrub in circular motions and wash with Adobe lukewarm water. Apply this mask to your face thrice a week and see avisible
Here you must note that the response to such remedies differs from body to body and hence the result may also vary. One may get it in a few days while another may take time of a month also but it offers the desired results for sure. Hence one must keep on applying the mask for a long period.
